The Face Pain, Every Which Way But Loose

Life After Cancers, A Poem…

I am a chondrosarcoma survivor-thriver. I am your bones and cartilage. I am your spine and muscles. I am your shoulder blades, rib cage and ligaments. I am the slip and slide. I am the out and in. I am the push and pull. I am the shift and move. I am the short and long. I am the up and down of a limp. I am your scaffolding, lifeless and blood less with no circulation that holds you up. I am your chronic pain. I am the faces of pain. I am your gift of life. Miriam Zimms@2024
