Women Supporting Women has been by way of living for many years. I have witnessed over the years how women need more support in launching and growing their businesses than men. Sadly, there were more men than women along the way who mentored me in business. I always knew that if I had an opportunity to support and help other women, I would be that woman to not be threatened, not be jealous, and not look down upon a confident and successful woman. But I would nurture, empower, respect and help. This is the way I would help heal my maternal loss as a childless and loving woman.

That being said, there are a few very important women who I credit with supporting me along the way helping to build my consulting career, new life as an artist, and as a woman. In business and management applied to the environmental field that was Sherry Weinschenk and in Arts in Health guiding me through Zentangle Art/Healing Arts that was Marcia Brown. They took me under their wings and mentored me. I took that opportunity to be brave, creative, and courageous and resilient to succeed in life. The most important woman to mentor me was my mother, Rosa. I am who I am because she never stopped telling me, I could accomplish anything I wanted to if I put my faith and mind to it. She was right. I am living the American Dream as a first generation immigrant from Guatemala who was given a second and third chance at life.

In abundance and gratitude to all the mentors in my life.
