Soulful Sunday, The Bird Chorus
The birds sing as a chorus for only a certain period of time in the early morning sunrise. It’s early in the morning and no matter what age they are, they sing. On the weekends, especially Sundays, I open the bedroom sliders and I let the sun shine in and the bird chorus sing to me.
Sometimes I just listen and let my body be still and absorb their Hallelujah chorus. Sometimes I say my rosary beads that provides a meditation for me in my spirit while the chorus sings to me. Regardless, we rejoice together. We are all birds in a chorus.
And even though the chorus has now stopped. One or two keep singing. It’s a reminder to me to keep signing, both as a part of the chorus or as a solo singer. I keep singing.
